BIG CITY ORCHESTRA
The BIG CITY ORCHESTRA has been enormously varied in line-up, constitution
and purpose. Many large ensembles, representing all kinds of musical
styles and aesthetics, occurred in the construction of instruments,
the progress of music compositions, and the development in the technique
of performance. technological advances were crucial to enabling
this as opposed to 'band' or 'ensemble'.
The orchestra, with its large body
of remains probably the defining configuration, but even this has
been altered and expanded in ways it has a quite specific meaning,
referring to the period between a the instrumental line-up of the
orchestra had become standardised evil.
Big City Orchestra contributed to a 23five sponsored event held
at the 3feetofftheground Gallery in 2001.
